Protocol Education is working alongside a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bath that is seeking a dedicated Classroom Support Assistant to join their team this September.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Support pupils during lessons to help them engage with learning activities.
  • Work alongside teachers to deliver an inclusive and positive classroom experience.
  • Provide encouragement and reassurance to children who may need extra support.
  • Assist with small-group interventions and one-to-one learning activities.
  • Help promote positive behaviour and strong classroom routines.
  • Encourage children's social, emotional and academic development.
  • Adapt your support to meet the individual needs of pupils across the school day.
  • Build positive relationships with children, staff and families.
Who We're Looking For
  • Have worked with children in schools, nurseries, clubs, childcare settings, tutoring or community-based roles.
  • Are patient, resilient and approachable.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can support pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND, SEMH or EAL.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Have a genuine passion for helping children reach their potential.
  • Additional language skills would be an advantage but are not essential.

What We Need to Clear You
  • A valid passport or evidence of your right to work in the UK
  • Two recent proofs of address
  • An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years of employment and/or education history, with any gaps explained
  • An overseas police check if you have lived outside the UK for 3 months or more within the last 5 years
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Our team will support you through every stage of the compliance process.
