OVERVIEW The University of Bath is recruiting a Placements Officer to support students in securing and succeeding in professional placement opportunities. This role focuses on developing relationships with placement providers and partner organisations, promoting placement opportunities in the UK and internationally, and ensuring students receive effective guidance throughout the process. The successful candidate will primarily support students in the Department of Economics and may also work with other departments across the Faculty as required.

• Support students to secure and succeed in professional placement opportunities
• Develop and maintain relationships with placement providers and partner organisations
• Research placement opportunities in the UK and internationally
• Promote placement opportunities to students
• Provide high-quality guidance throughout the placement process
• Support students within the Department of Economics
• Assist other departments within the Faculty as required

• Experience supporting students with placement activity
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
• Strong communication and guidance skills
• Ability to research and promote placement opportunities
• Capacity for ensuring high-quality support throughout the placement process
