As a Secondary School Teacher, you will use your subject knowledge and teaching expertise to inspire, engage, and support students in achieving their full potential. Working within a supportive and inclusive school environment, you will deliver high-quality lessons, promote positive learning behaviours, and help students develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons that support student progress and achievement within your subject area.
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all students can succeed.
• Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support learning, wellbeing, and personal development.
• Assessing, monitoring, and tracking student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
• Contributing to the wider school community and collaborating with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
• Encouraging students to develop confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a UK school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training for this can be provided)

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional, child-related references

The successful candidate will be required to register and have passed all safeguarding/vetting checks with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy.
