A particular feature of this opportunity is the potential to undertake a nationally recognised Level 5 apprenticeship, supporting professional development, enhancing future career prospects and helping to create progression opportunities into specialist roles and higher salary levels over time.

The successful candidate will:
  • Provide effective support to learners with additional needs in lessons and across the wider college environment
  • Promote learner independence, confidence, engagement and achievement
  • Enable learners to develop strategies and skills that support participation and long-term success
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams to implement appropriate support approaches
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive and aspirational learning environment
  • Support learner wellbeing and uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times
  • Maintain appropriate records and contribute to reviews of learner progress and support arrangements
