Protocol Education is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of specialist schools and alternative provisions in Bath
. Due to the nature and location of some of our partner schools, a full UK driving licence is essential.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- ADHD
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties
You will work on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping pupils access learning, build confidence and develop essential life skills. Every day will be different, offering a rewarding opportunity to positively influence a young person's educational journey.
What We're Looking For- A full UK driving licence
- Experience working with children or young people in education, care, support work or similar settings
- A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to learn and develop within SEN education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
