Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Infrastructure team based in Bath
. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on projects that range from local infrastructure upgrades to the strategic master planning of entire cities across the globe.

Role Overview:

You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team focused on delivering innovative, sustainable infrastructure solutions. You’ll take ownership of complex, multidisciplinary projects from early planning stages through to detailed design and implementation. The role involves a mix of technical delivery, team leadership, and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and deliver a variety of infrastructure projects (highways, drainage, utilities)
  • Lead and support multidisciplinary design teams
  • Prepare and review technical documents including reports, specifications, and drawings
  • Support financial planning and monitor project performance
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
  • Assist in business development and bid preparation
🎯
Candidate Profile:
  • Strong technical expertise in civil infrastructure design (highways, utilities, sustainable drainage)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Micro Drainage (or equivalent)
  • Proven track record in managing complex, multidisciplinary projects
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Chartered or working towards chartered status with a relevant institution
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and support continuous quality improvement
