Marine vessels represent some of the most complex manufactured assets in the world and as such provide interesting, challenging and rewarding work for the people that design, build and support them through life. As an apprentice in our engineering teams, you will have the opportunity to be involved in projects across the lifecycle of various types of vessels and across different sectors.

You will be helping to solve our customers’ problems and delivering them innovative, bespoke solutions. Working alongside our clients, we often start with a blank sheet of paper and sketch their ideas and concepts to map the path to delivering the solution.

We are offering:

• UK Level 2 candidates the opportunity to complete a Level 3 Engineering Design Technician Advanced Apprenticeship and supporting them completing their HNC (4 years). Beyond this there is an opportunity to complete a Level 6 Degree Engineering Apprenticeship; completing your HND, then Bachelors Degree (3 years);
• UK Level 3 Candidates a chance to complete a Level 6 Degree Engineering Apprenticeship; completing your HNC, HND and Bachelors Degree (4 years).

Candidates will benefit from on-the-job experience as well as time at a local college/university to complete their apprenticeship. We support our apprentice development with dedicated apprenticeship mentors and a structured experiential pathway that will help them work towards the varying levels of professional qualification and recognition.
