Are you a Civil Infrastructure Engineer looking to grow your technical and operational expertise across the world? Buro Happold is looking to recruit a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure Group in our Bath office, with a particular focus on potable water design.

Key Duties
  • Water System Design and Delivery: Develop potable water, wastewater, surface water and recycled water network designs from concept to detailed design. Produce technical strategies, calculations, reports and coordinated design outputs in line with UK and international standards. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to integrate water networks with energy, transport, landscape and urban design components. Help define sustainable, resilient and efficient water infrastructure for new communities at regional scale.
  • UK Project Leadership and Delivery: Lead and deliver water and infrastructure projects within the UK market, managing scope, deliverables and coordination with wider teams. Engage with clients, stakeholders and project partners to ensure clarity of brief, technical quality and smooth delivery. Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements, planning processes and best practice relevant to UK water and infrastructure projects.

Support junior colleagues through guidance, reviews and knowledge sharing. Contribute to internal development of tools, standards and ways of working.
