Structural Engineer​/Analyst

• Specialist structural engineering consultants for lightweight, tensile structures working in the fields of Architecture, Aerospace and Art. Providing analysis, design and construction support to a wide range of world leading architect, engineer, contractor and aerospace clients
• Work on a wide range of challenging and high-profile projects worldwide such as scientific balloons, hybrid air vehicles, artistic installations and major stadiums, many of which we are unable to feature on our web site.
• Established over 30 years ago, Tensys has offices in Bath UK and Melbourne Australia
• Develop and maintain inTENS, their proprietary software for tension structures design. Our software is constantly being enhanced, updated and actively integrated with the latest developments in parametric design, digital architecture and cooperative sharing of technical data
• Tensys pride themselves on being problem solvers. Breaking problems down into their fundamental basics and selecting or developing the appropriate tool to form engineering solutions.

• Junior structural engineers for a full time, on-site role, based at the Tensys Bath office

• A solid foundation in structural design, the underlying principles of computational mathematics, engineering and analysis
• Ideally a minimum of one or two years post graduate experience.
• An aptitude and enthusiasm for this nature of structure.
• Experience in using scripting and programming solutions to assist in solving engineering problems
• Good personal and presentational skills. You will be running your own projects, under supervision, and responsible for day to day client interaction.

Additional experience of at least one of the following:

• Grasshopper and/or Kangaroo
• 3D CAD, such as Rhino or AutoCAD
