The Role
** As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will support our FP&A function through high‑quality financial analysis, modelling, reporting and business partnering. Your work will help steer forecasting, resource allocation, and long‑term financial performance across the organisation.

This role offers the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders, contribute to continuous improvements, and develop your professional expertise within a diverse global business.

* Key Responsibilities:

**** Financial Modelling & Analysis:
*** Build, maintain and enhance financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning and scenario analysis.
* Analyse financial performance, identify trends and variances, and communicate key drivers clearly.
* Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for senior leaders.
** Budgeting & Forecasting:
*** Support the annual budget cycle and periodic reforecasts.
* Consolidate business unit submissions, challenge assumptions and ensure accuracy.
* Partner with functional leads to understand operational impacts on financial outcomes.
** Reporting & Insight Generation:
*** Prepare clear, concise monthly management reporting packs.
* Develop dashboards and KPI tools to enhance visibility of business performance.
* Present insights to non‑financial audiences in a compelling and data‑driven way.
** Business Partnering:
*** Build strong relationships across Finance and wider support teams.
* Act as a trusted advisor, helping teams understand financial implications and opportunities.
* Support ad‑hoc analysis for strategic initiatives and business decisions.
** Process Improvement:
*** Identify ways to streamline reporting and automate manual workflows.
* Contribute to enhancements in planning tools, systems, and financial processes.

* About You:

*** Experience in FP&A, management reporting or financial analysis (professional services experience desirable).
* Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency with advanced Excel functions.
* Ability to analyse complex data sets and communicate insights clearly.
* Comfortable making sound judgements when working with imperfect data.
* Strong organisational skills, able to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
* Qualified CIMA / ACA / ACCA.
* Experience with Power BI, Tableau and/or SQL.
* Experience in engineering, construction or professional services sectors.
* Familiarity with Agresso and Deltek Vantagepoint is beneficial but not essential.
* Exposure to continuous improvement or process optimisation.
