Senior Assistant Management Accountant

Job Description

I'm partnering with a successful and growing organisation based in Bath who are on the lookout for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills further in a supportive and commercially focused environment.

In this role, you'll take ownership of key areas of the month-end process while also getting involved in wider business reporting and analysis.

• Producing management accounts with commentary for review
• Supporting with budgeting and reforecasting cycles
• Preparing and posting journals including accruals and prepayments
• Performing monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Analysing variances and providing insight to non-finance stakeholders
• Assisting with audit preparation and statutory reporting
• Working closely with senior finance and operational teams

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
• Previous experience in a similar management accounting role
• Confident user of Excel - able to manipulate and interpret data
• Comfortable working with different teams across the business
• Ambitious and keen to continue progressing professionally
