Role PurposeThis role sits within the Cash and Finance Transformation (FP&A) team as part of the wider CBU Finance team.
- Support the delivery of Finance Transformation initiatives across systems, processes, and ways of working
- Provide support across the Cash agenda, helping improve cash visibility, control, and performance
- Work with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to deliver practical and sustainable change
- Support delivery of transformation initiatives across Finance, including process improvement, system enhancements, and standardisation
- Help identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve finance processes
- Support implementation of new tools, reporting solutions, or ways of working
- Assist in documenting processes, controls, and best practices
- Provide support on project management activities (tracking actions, timelines, and risks)
- Work with stakeholders to ensure adoption of new processes and solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement culture within the team
- Support analysis and reporting of key cash metrics (e.g. working capital, cash flow drivers)
- Assist in identifying risks and opportunities impacting cash performance
- Support forecasting and tracking of cash-related KPIs
- Work with stakeholders to improve transparency and understanding of cash levers
- Contribute to initiatives that improve cash collection, accuracy, and governance
- Provide analytical support and insights to support decision making
- Collaborate with different teams across Finance and the business
- Support ad hoc analysis, project work, and business priorities as required
We would like you to demonstrate the following key skills:
- Accounting and financial experience
- Strong analytical mindset with good attention to detail
- Interest in Finance transformation, systems, or process improvement
- Good Excel skills; exposure to Power BI or similar tools is beneficial
- Ability to work across multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Team player, able to collaborate and share ideas effectively
Salary Bracket: £55-65k
