Role Purpose

This role sits within the Cash and Finance Transformation (FP&A) team as part of the wider CBU Finance team.

  • Support the delivery of Finance Transformation initiatives across systems, processes, and ways of working
  • Provide support across the Cash agenda, helping improve cash visibility, control, and performance
  • Work with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to deliver practical and sustainable change
Key Activities Transformation
  • Support delivery of transformation initiatives across Finance, including process improvement, system enhancements, and standardisation
  • Help identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve finance processes
  • Support implementation of new tools, reporting solutions, or ways of working
  • Assist in documenting processes, controls, and best practices
  • Provide support on project management activities (tracking actions, timelines, and risks)
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure adoption of new processes and solutions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement culture within the team
Cash
  • Support analysis and reporting of key cash metrics (e.g. working capital, cash flow drivers)
  • Assist in identifying risks and opportunities impacting cash performance
  • Support forecasting and tracking of cash-related KPIs
  • Work with stakeholders to improve transparency and understanding of cash levers
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve cash collection, accuracy, and governance
General
  • Provide analytical support and insights to support decision making
  • Collaborate with different teams across Finance and the business
  • Support ad hoc analysis, project work, and business priorities as required
About You

We would like you to demonstrate the following key skills:

  • Accounting and financial experience
  • Strong analytical mindset with good attention to detail
  • Interest in Finance transformation, systems, or process improvement
  • Good Excel skills; exposure to Power BI or similar tools is beneficial
  • Ability to work across multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Team player, able to collaborate and share ideas effectively

Salary Bracket: £55-65k
