This is an excellent opportunity for someone with finance or accounts payable experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, customer service and strong stakeholder relationships are key.
Key responsibilities include:
Processing supplier invoices and managing invoice workflows. Building strong relationships with suppliers and resolving queries promptly. Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies. Processing staff expense claims and payment requests. Supporting payment runs including BACS and foreign currency payments. Managing payment records and ensuring documentation is maintained accurately. Producing reports on payment activity and resolving failed transactions. Assisting with month-end and year-end finance processes.
Supporting colleagues across the wider business with payment-related enquiries. Helping train and support new team members where required. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function. What you'll need to succeed Essential Previous experience in a finance, accounts payable or transactional finance role. Strong Microsoft Excel and general IT skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive approach to problem solving.
Desirable Experience working with integrated finance systems. Knowledge of accounts payable processes and controls. Experience handling supplier relationships and reconciliations.
