FTC - Accounts Assistant

The Opportunity
A leading professional services organisation in Bath is seeking a Accounts Assistant to join its growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking tobuild a long-term career within finance and gain exposure to a broad range of transactional and month-end accounting activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams across the business,supporting invoicing, financial administration and reporting processes while developing valuable commercial finance experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Raising and issuing client invoices accurately and on schedule.
• Supporting project and operational teams with financial administration.
• Monitoring timesheet submissions and resolving discrepancies.
• Assisting with month-end activities including accruals and prepayments.
• Reviewing departmental cost reports and financial data.
• Maintaining accurate records across finance systems.
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc reporting and administration.
• Assisting with process improvement initiatives where appropriate.
