Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading regional firm of chartered accountants and business advisers in Bath who are looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Manager / Senior Manager to join their growing tax team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Corporate Tax professional to join a highly regarded firm, working with an impressive and diverse client portfolio while playing a key role in delivering both corporate tax compliance and advisory services.
The successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of corporate clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to larger corporate groups. Alongside overseeing compliance work, you will provide high-quality tax planning and advisory services, working closely with Partners on a wide range of complex assignments including reorganisations, transactions, group structuring, and other strategic tax projects.
You will also be responsible for developing strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to add value, and supporting the development of junior members of the team through coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance.

Duties & Responsibilities- Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients
- Reviewing and overseeing corporate tax compliance work
- Providing corporate tax planning and advisory services
- Assisting with company reorganisations, transactions, group restructures, and other tax projects
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working closely with Partners on complex advisory assignments
- Identifying tax planning opportunities for clients
- Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior members of the tax team
- Supporting business development initiatives and networking opportunities
- ACA / ACCA and/or CTA Qualified
- Previous Corporate Tax experience within an accountancy practice
- Experience managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate taxation
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client service
- Previous experience supervising or managing team members is desirable
