Interim Finance Director

Interim Head of Finance - Ongoing Assignment

We're looking for a qualified, hands-on Interim Head of Finance to join a growing SME on an ongoing interim basis, working closely with key stakeholders and taking ownership of the finance function.

This is a role for someone who can hit the ground running, bring strong financial control and commercial insight, and isn't afraid to get stuck in.

The role

• Lead and maintain strong financial control, including month-end close.
• Take ownership of VAT queries across multiple countries.
• Control and monitor the financial plan, including understanding how projects and business decisions impact forecasts.
• Own financial planning, modelling and forecasting.
• Monitor performance against plan and provide clear insight to key stakeholders.
• Liaise with the bank and external stakeholders as required.
• Act as a proactive problem-solver and trusted finance partner to the business.

About you

You'll be a qualified accountant with experience at Financial Controller / Finance Director level, ideally within an SME or entrepreneurial environment.
