Trident Healthcare Solutions is recruiting Biomedical Scientists at all levels-from Medical Laboratory Assistants (MLA) through Band 5, Band 6, and Band 7-to join the pathology team at University Hospitals of Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for Biomedical Scientists seeking flexible agency work in a leading NHS environment.

• Biomedical Scientists will perform routine and specialist laboratory investigations in compliance with UKAS and ISO standards.
• Operate and maintain advanced laboratory equipment, ensuring quality control and calibration.
• Interpret and validate test results, escalating anomalies as required.
• Adhere to strict health and safety protocols and infection control measures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and service development within the laboratory.

We are recruiting Biomedical Scientists across multiple sectors, including:

• Haematology
• Biochemistry
• Microbiology
• Blood Transfusion
• Histopathology
• Cytology

• MLA Level: Previous laboratory experience preferred; training provided.
• Band 5: HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
• Band 6 & 7: Significant post-registration experience in relevant discipline; specialist portfolio desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
