The Family and Specialist Services Division is currently seeking a Senior Specialty Manager for our Haematology and Oncology service.

Who are we looking for:

You thrive working under pressure and at pace to support the operational performance and quality standards associated with FASS specialties. We have multiple performance, financial and quality targets to achieve to support improved outcomes for patients. Previous experience of working within any of the specialities is not essential but a good understanding of the challenges faced would be advantageous.

We are looking for applications for one Band 8a post. 37.5 hours per week (flexible working opportunities).

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will work together within a specialty triumvirate and support the day to day running of their specialty. This will involve staffing, operational performance, managing a budget, staff appraisals and supporting quality patient care. There will be a focus on continuous improvement supporting good patient outcomes and staff well being.
