Position: Social Worker - Learning Disability & Autism- BANES (Temporary)
Social Worker required for work within BANES Learning Disability & Autism Team. 37 hours a week with rates up to £32p/h for experienced candidates. Contract will be minimum 3 months. Flexible, hybrid working.

The Learning Disability, Autism and Hearing & Vision Service are seeking a skilled and experience social worker for a fixed term contract.

The scope of the role would be to carry out annual reviews in a cluster-style, e.g. visiting one residential/supported living setting and reviewing all individuals. There will be no requirement to case manage or partake in a duty rota.

The role involves a mix of casework and reviews, including safeguarding processes, supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism to achieve positive outcomes.

This is a hybrid role however, some in-person visits are required, so you'll need access to a car. The team is based in Keynsham and covers the wider Bath & North East Somerset area.

Requirements:

Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration

Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and/or autism

Strong understanding of Care Act 2014 and safeguarding procedures

Access to a car and ability to travel across BANES

You will be SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
