Job OverviewTHIS ROLE IS OPEN TO RUH EMPLOYEES ONLY
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Clinical Measurement Team. The position would be ideally suited to someone with existing relevant clinical imaging or clinical measurement experience who wishes to broaden and develop their skills. The work covers the specialties of Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry and microvascular imaging (thermal imaging and nailfold capillaroscopy). Full training and appropriate clinical supervision will be provided.
The successful candidate will have opportunities to contribute to service development and research projects whilst working amongst a supportive team of clinical technologists, healthcare science assistants, clinical scientists (physicists and engineers) and nurses.

Main duties of the jobThe Clinical Measurement Department performs a variety of diagnostic imaging tests, including bone densitometry, thermography and nailfold capillaroscopies. The Department is typically involved with a number of research studies and provides technical help to other parts of the Trust.
Carry out all aspects of bone densitometry, thermography, nailfold capillaroscopy and other specialised imaging. Organise workload on a daily basis ensuring the requirements of the Trust’s consultant staff are met. Selective reporting for all of these services.
The role requires the post holder to be flexible with regards the working hours and to occasionally work extended hours with prior arrangement.
