Job Title: Consultant in Adult Psychiatry

We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Bath, Somerset. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.
What will your responsibilities be?This role involves working across inpatient and Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) settings, focusing on adult psychiatry. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality psychiatric care, conducting comprehensive assessments, and formulating individualised treatment plans. The successful candidate must hold Section 12 approval and be an Approved Clinician. You will be expected to act as the Responsible Clinician (RC), collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation.
Qualificationsand
Experience:
- Full GMC registration (essential)
- Section 12 approval
- Approved Clinician status
- Experience in adult psychiatry across inpatient and community settings
- Strong clinical and communication skills
