What we are looking forWe’re looking for a passionate, proactive and people-focused People Manager to join our team at the Francis Hotel Bath. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people professional who thrives on building strong relationships, coaching leaders, driving engagement and creating an exceptional employee experience.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will lead the people agenda across the hotel, partnering with managers to develop high-performing teams, foster a positive and inclusive culture, and ensure our people practices support both our employees and business objectives. You will bring our values of being welcoming, connected, proper, imaginative and thoughtful to life every day while championing our culture and supporting organisational success.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership & Business PartneringAct as the trusted People lead for the hotel, partnering with managers to provide expert advice and guidance on all people-related matters. Support leaders in building high-performing teams, driving accountability and delivering an exceptional employee experience.
Employee Relations
Lead and manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management processes. Provide coaching and guidance to managers, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes while mitigating organisational risk.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce PlanningOversee the end-to-end recruitment process, working closely with managers to attract, identify and secure top talent. Support workforce planning initiatives and ensure a positive and engaging candidate and onboarding experience.
People Operations & HR AdministrationEnsure effective management of all people processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probationary reviews, contractual changes, employee records and leavers. Maintain accurate HR systems and ensure best practice across all people operations.
