Are you ready to lead and coordinate the operations that keep a digital department running efficiently?
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Digital, Data & Technology (DDaT) Information Security team in a pivotal role ensuring security assurance evolves to support the strategic goals of the University.
In this role, you will:- Manage a team of specialist Information Security Assurance Analysts
- Take ownership of Info Sec risk management activities including managing outputs and tracking remediation of vulnerability management and penetration testing programmes
- Develop and enhance our existing information security processes to adapt to a changing landscape of threats impacting the education sector
- Liaise with colleagues within the university on security assurance and risk management
- Has proven experience managing information security teams
- Has demonstrable experience working with risk management, and under IT governance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials
- Is confident managing competing priorities and implementing effective governance and reporting processes.
- Works proactively, with sound judgement and excellent communication skills when engaging a wide range of stakeholders
