This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands‑on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, helping to deliver reliable, innovative, and high‑quality IT services across the organisation.

In this role, you will be the go‑to expert for resolving complex and business‑critical technical issues, providing advanced support across hardware, software, and network infrastructure. You'll lead the planning and delivery of system upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and strategic technology projects that enhance operational performance and user experience.

Working closely with colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers, you will help shape the future of IT services by identifying opportunities for improvement, implementing best practices, and ensuring service levels consistently meet organisational needs. You'll also play an important role in mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing support environment.

Main duties of the job What You’ll Be Doing
  • Providing expert second and third-line technical support for complex IT incidents and problems.
  • Leading the delivery of IT infrastructure upgrades, system enhancements, and strategic projects.
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues across hardware, software, networking, and digital systems.
  • Coaching, supporting, and developing junior members of the IT team.
  • Monitoring service performance and ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders to understand and meet technology requirements.
  • Contributing to policy development, service innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting the implementation of new technologies and best practices across the organisation.
What We're Looking For
  • Significant experience in IT support, infrastructure, or technical services.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multiple technology platforms.
  • Experience managing complex technical incidents and delivering IT projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A proactive approach to service improvement and innovation.
  • The ability to lead, mentor, and inspire colleagues within a busy support environment.

If you're passionate about technology, enjoy solving complex problems, and want to make a real impact through leadership and innovation, we'd love to hear from you.
