Finance Digital Adoption and Delivery Specialist

This person can be based in Bath on a hybrid working model.

This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working at the intersection of finance, technology, process improvement and change management. You'll help introduce and embed new digital tools, automation, reporting solutions and AI-enabled capabilities, ensuring colleagues across the business have the skills, confidence and support they need to embrace new ways of working.

Working closely with Finance, Digital, Data and Transformation teams, you'll help turn approved digital initiatives into practical, sustainable solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen controls and enhance the user experience.

• Drive adoption of new finance technologies, systems, workflows and reporting solutions across a global finance community.
• Design and deliver engaging training programmes, workshops, user guides, videos and coaching sessions.
• Support and grow a network of Finance Digital Champions to encourage best practice and knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing activities and support successful system deployments.
• Deliver low to medium complexity digital enhancements, automations and reporting improvements.
• Gather user feedback and identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working.
• Support finance teams in making the most of reporting, data, workflow, automation and approved AI tools.
• Maintain documentation, training materials and support processes to ensure solutions remain effective and sustainable.
• Track adoption metrics, benefits and business outcomes to demonstrate value and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Data, Information Security and external partners to deliver successful digital initiatives.
• Apply Finance digital governance and delivery standards, including controlled testing and approvals, and promote the responsible use of approved AI tools.

You’ll be someone who combines strong finance knowledge with a passion for digital innovation and helping others succeed.

• Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent finance experience).
• Strong understanding of core finance processes such as accounts payable, billing, reconciliations, reporting, financial controls and month-end activities.
• Experience using digital tools, automation, reporting solutions or AI-enabled technologies to improve business processes.
• Experience supporting system implementations, process improvements or transformation initiatives.
• Experience using digital tools, automation, reporting solutions or AI-enabled technologies to improve business processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, user-friendly way.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

• Experience with Unit4, Deltek Vantagepoint or similar ERP/project accounting platforms.
• Exposure to Power Platform, Python, SQL, VBA or other automation technologies.
• Experience with in a professional services, consultancy or project-based environment.
• Experience creating training materials, user documentation and testing artefacts.
