The University of Bath is looking for a data analyst, proficient in Excel and Power BI. We want you to help us to understand our people data that describes our research culture and environment. We want you to use that data to help us understand what is really happening rather than what we think might be happening. And we want you to show us, with the data, how the research culture we are building can be evidenced.
This role sits in a unique place in the University of Bath. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Workforce Development in the HR department, you will have full access to all our people data. You will also be embedded in the virtual team that is iteratively developing the People, Culture and Environment statement for our submission. This is the primary focus of your time with us.
…andmake a difference for the people you will work with.
We know that we have weaknesses in our data and that we need to develop our ability to move from report generation to developing insights. The second part of your role will be to act as a subject matter expert, supporting your colleagues in the HR Management Information Team in both the development and delivery of the actions that will improve our data quality, and to acquire further confidence and expertise in the use of Power BI to create insights.
