Are you an experienced Supply Chain leader within the FMCG industry?
Do you have a proven track record of leading end to end supply chains including procurement, planning and logistics?
Are you operationally focussed with the ability to drive efficiencies and support a manufacturing business through growth and development?
Mac Gregor Black is partnering with a FMCG manufacturing business on the search for a Head of Supply Chain. This is a PERM role based in Bristol.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the procurement of raw materials, ingredients, packaging and other production inputs.
- Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships.
- Own the end-to-end demand and supply planning process.
- Develop accurate forecasts using customer, historical and commercial data.
- Translate customer demand into robust procurement and production requirements.
- Take overall responsibility for warehousing and inventory management.
- Establish clear inventory targets and performance measures.
- Lead the efficient movement of finished products from manufacturing through to customers and distribution centres.
- Establish and lead a clear supply chain strategy aligned with the company's growth plans.
- Introduce robust KPIs and performance reporting.
- Significant senior-level supply chain leadership experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or a similarly complex manufacturing environment.
- Proven end-to-end responsibility across procurement, demand planning, inventory, warehousing, logistics and customer service.
- Experience supplying major retail customers and/or significant food service or co-manufacturing customers.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing supply chains and the challenges associated with short lead times, changing demand and customer service requirements.
- A strong commercial understanding, including procurement, cost control and working capital.
- A proven track record of improving supply chain performance.
- Experience developing teams, processes and systems to support business growth.
Salary – up to £100k + package
