Key Responsibilities
* Perform maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical plant and equipment within the hospital premises.
* Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to ensure minimal disruption to hospital services.
* Conduct routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) checks on mechanical systems.
* Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and hospital policies.
* Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and carry out necessary remedial actions.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed.## Requirements
* Proven experience as a mechanical craftsperson, preferably within a hospital or similar large institutional environment.
* Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or a related field.
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for mechanical systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Knowledge of health and safety standards applicable to hospital environments.
* Good communication skills and ability to interact with staff and patients professionally.## Benefits
