Service Manager- Domestic Violence and Abuse services

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop services that support people experiencing Domestic Violence and Abuse across Bath and Northeast Somerset. You'll manage and inspire local teams, drive service improvements, and work closely with commissioners and partners to ensure clients are safe and receive high-quality support that enables them to move forward with confidence and independence

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Location: BANES

Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Service Manager to lead our Domestic Abuse Housing services across the BANES (Bath & Northeast Somerset) area.

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone who is committed to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed support for people experiencing social exclusion, including survivors of domestic abuse. You will be responsible for managing local projects, leading and developing staff teams, driving service improvements, and ensuring contractual, quality, and performance targets are achieved.

Working closely with commissioners, partner agencies, and the wider Alongside leadership team, you will ensure services remain person-centred, strength-based, and focused on achieving positive outcomes for clients. You will maintain a visible presence within services, support staff to deliver excellent client support, and help shape service development across the region.

• • Lead, motivate and develop a team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed support services.
  • Ensure clients receive person-centred support that helps them achieve positive outcomes and greater independence.
  • Build strong relationships with commissioners, partner agencies and other stakeholders across the BANES area.
  • Drive service quality, performance and continuous improvement across multiple projects.
  • Oversee housing and operational management, ensuring services remain safe, compliant and effective.

  What We're Looking For Essential
  • • Experience managing teams within housing, domestic abuse, homelessness, social care or support services.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and inspire high-performing teams.
    • Knowledge of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice and supporting people experiencing social exclusion.
    • Experience managing service performance and achieving positive outcomes.
    • Excellent communication and partnership-building skills.
    • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  Desirable
  • Experience of working in the statutory or voluntary sector.
  • IDVA/ISVA/Safelives Service Manager qualification or equivalent
