Skilled Welder

We are looking for a number of Skilled Welders for a 12-month contract based in Inchinnan on behalf of Rolls-Royce who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planets vital power needs.

Please note that these roles are going to be on a rotating shift pattern that will include mornings, afternoons and nights. What youll do:
Maintaining our excellent quality standards, being an integral part ofour manufacturing process. Welding of Nickel, Steel and Alloys using various processes includingTIG welding in accordance with defined specifications and procedures,as detailed within the Manufacturing Instructions and Data Cards. The role will require you to work to tight tolerances, experience of thiswill need to be demonstrated k within strict HS&E guidelines, Maintaining a clean and safe environment.

We work within a cutting-edge manufacturing facility, so a basic IT knowledge is essential. The skills youll need:
Completed a recognised time-served apprenticeship including City and Guilds,NVQ3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline.(Original trade papers must be available for review at interview). Experienced of Welding to Aerospace standards. Experience in working with Nickels/Steels and Alloys. Ability to read and interpret design drawings (considered an asset). Professional and flexible attitude, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels.

Able to work a multi-shift pattern including nights. Be self-motivated, with the ability to work on your own initiative or aspart of a team. Understand how to maintain a clean and safe environment in the workplace and how to work to set deadlines to achieve performance targets. An up-to-date working knowledge of health, safety (including COSHH) and environmental procedures. Next steps:
