Right now, we are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Executive to join our bustling Marketing team. This role is central to creating and delivering personalised customer communications that enhance the experience for both new and existing customers, ensuring the right message reaches the right customer at the right time.
The roleThe position focuses primarily on the creation, delivery and performance measurement of customer newsletters, alongside the development and maintenance of automated and triggered customer communication workflows. You will plan and write engaging, compliant content for email and SMS campaigns, build comms using approved templates, and use segmentation and personalisation to ensure messaging is targeted and relevant. A/B testing and performance analysis will be key to continuously improving engagement and outcomes.
Working collaboratively with the wider Marketing team, you will contribute to the annual campaign calendar and support multi-channel campaign delivery. Operating within a regulated environment, you will balance creativity with strict adherence to FCA, ASA, GDPR and PECR requirements, ensuring all communications remain compliant, accurate and on brand. You will also document customer journeys and conduct thorough testing and quality checks on workflow updates, to strive for continuous improvement.
AboutYou
You will have at least 1-2 years' experience in a marketing role with a focus on content and communications, OR experience gained within financial services in a marketing, customer service or administrative capacity, coupled with a strong desire to develop your career. You bring excellent written and verbal communication skills, a keen eye for detail and confidence working within brand guidelines to produce compelling and engaging content.
Ideally, you will have experience in email marketing, including content creation and campaign deployment, along with familiarity with analytics tools and email marketing platforms, but you're also eager to learn and further develop your skills.
Experience of using CMS systems like Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Adobe Campaign would be beneficial but not essential.
You're comfortable working on your own initiative, but you also thrive as a collaborative, supportive team player with stakeholders across the business. Flexible, proactive and calm under pressure, you enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities can shift quickly and are able to organise and prioritise effectively. You will need to be keen on compliance, following necessary established processes and an element of applying caution and risk mitigation within our regulatory requirements.
You may have a marketing qualification or you may be self-taught, but either way you'll have demonstrable experience and be able to evidence your achievements in communications, content writing and email marketing.
