Digital Content Executive

Salary Range: £27,000 - £30,000

Hybrid
- Monday – Friday 9am-5pm

This is an exciting opportunity to join Bath Building Society and play a key role in developing and managing our digital presence. As Digital Content Executive, you will create and optimise engaging content across the website, emails, external and intranet channels, supporting the Society’s marketing strategy and strengthening our brand presence.

You will own the creation, management and optimisation of digital content to engage colleagues, Members and business partners, while ensuring consistency in tone of voice and adherence to brand standards. Alongside this, you will monitor performance, support campaign delivery and contribute fresh ideas to enhance user experience across all digital platforms.

The role

As Digital Content Executive, you will manage the Society’s digital content calendar and coordinate activity across multiple channels to support integrated marketing campaigns. You will optimise digital content through performance analysis and testing, ensuring a consistent and engaging user experience while supporting the delivery of the Society’s wider marketing strategy.

This is a creative and hands‑on role, suited to someone who enjoys developing ideas, working collaboratively and using insight and performance data to continuously improve digital communications.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Maintain the seasonal digital content calendar and coordinate with the Head of Marketing, Marketing Manager and social media freelance support to deliver integrated campaigns across owned and earned channels, including website, social media, branch screens and online advertising.
  • Create, manage and optimise digital content across website, email, social media and intranet channels.
  • Spot trends, experiment with new formats and contribute fresh ideas to enhance digital engagement.
  • Support the Marketing Manager with artwork production, brand templates, fillable forms and basic design work in line with Society brand and style guides.
  • Act as a tone of voice and brand champion across digital channels.
  • Optimise content through performance analysis, testing and reporting.
  • Support the Marketing Manager with execution of the Member relationship programme across digital channels.
  • Act as first point of contact for website updates for savings and mortgage teams.
  • Manage the intranet homepage, including news updates and supporting colleagues across other sections.
  • Measure campaign and content performance using Looker dashboards, Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
  • Support the Head of Marketing with blogs, news and financial wellbeing content, including SEO optimisation.
  • Repurpose offline content for digital channels, such as customer case studies.
  • Proofread copy for internal and external communications.
  • Ensure compliance with content governance requirements, including timely removal of expired website and social content.
