Retail store assistant (with keyholder responsibility)

£12.71 per hour plus benefits

• Eligibility:
  Must be eligible to work in the UK. Cancer Research UK does not offer visa sponsorship.

• Oversee the running of the shop on a Sunday, including keyholder duties (training provided) and supporting a diverse team of volunteers.
• Assist the shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
• Review and process donated goods and new stock.
• Contribute creative ideas to generate new income, with guidance from the Shop Manager.
• Use customer service skills to ensure customers and supporters feel welcome and appreciated.
• Maintain shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance and health and safety.

• Working knowledge of what makes great customer service.
• Experience working in a lively and vibrant environment.
• Adaptability in changing situations, including the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commercial awareness.
• Strong relationship building and communication skills.
• Ideally, experience in retail or fashion, or an understanding of the sector.
