Business Development Manager – Piling

A specialist civil engineering / piling ground engineering contractor is seeking a Business Development Manager – Piling to generate and develop new business opportunities, secure enquiries, and increase sales revenue. The goal is to achieve, maintain, and exceed the required number of piling enquiries to meet monthly sales targets.

Based in the Western region near Bath, your duties will include:

Salary: £40k + package

Your responsibilities will involve:

• Maintaining and building relationships with client decision makers.
• Identifying sales opportunities through contact and face-to-face meetings.
• Attending construction networking events.
• Generating leads from market intelligence including Barbour ABI.
• Planning, preparing, and presenting the company profile and products to clients.
• Carrying out CPD PowerPoint presentations, including evening talks.
• Visiting construction sites as required.
• Updating customer database with project reports.
• Coordinating with other departments (house foundations & mini-piling).
• Supporting the Marketing Department at local events and other areas if needed.
• Attending breakfast clubs and representing the company at exhibitions.
