Business Development Manager – Southwest – Leading Food service Company

We are currently recruiting for a market leading food service due to huge growth across the UK. The company are known for providing fresh, quality ingredients and having a real passion for food. They serve a huge range of customers from Michelin-starred restaurants to bustling hotel kitchens, bars, catering services, iconic stadium venues and higher education. We are looking for people who have a Chef background and a passion for food.

Role:

You will be responsible for -

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with your customer portfolio
• Driving basket growth and uncovering new sales opportunities
• Carrying out structured depot and supplier visits to keep customers engaged with our range
• Tracking and analysing sales performance to maximise results
• Staying informed on food trends, competitors, and market developments
• Working closely with Marketing, NPD, Technical, and Operations teams
• Representing the company at events, trade shows, and networking opportunities as a brand ambassador

Candidate:

The ideal candidate will -

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Proven commercial or sales experience (food service or hospitality preferred)
• A proactive, self-motivated approach to achieving targets
• Confidence in analysing data and identifying opportunities
• Passion for food, people, and delivering exceptional service
• Full, Clean UK driving licence.
