This is a research‑intensive role, with the expectation of significant contributions to research excellence and innovation as well as contributing to teaching within your associated Department.

• Clean Energy Industries:
  Hydrogen and biogas fuels, energy networks, environmental economics, green finance, ethical supply chains, and behavioural change.
• Digital and Technologies: AI and machine learning, cybersecurity, spatial intelligence, robotics, human‑computer interaction, and digital transformation.
• Life Sciences:
  Drug discovery, diagnostics, pain research, preventative healthcare, wearable biosensors, and public health surveillance.
• Professional and Business Services:
  Retail innovation, fintech, smart logistics, digital policy, and inclusive growth.

• Internationally recognised research leadership within at least one of the priority areas.
• Proven ability to secure major funding.
• Proven track record of translating research into real‑world impact.
• Strategic vision and capacity to lead large‑scale initiatives.
• Commitment to mentoring and institutional development.

Successful applicants will be required to relocate to the UK. Bath offers a reimbursement scheme to help towards relocation and visa costs.
