Job Overview

Mitie is looking for a Retail Security Officer who can deliver exceptional customer service while creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications & Requirements

It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates. In some circumstances training for a licence can be provided.

Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history is mandatory; failure to provide may result in offer withdrawal or employment termination.

Main Duties

Deliver industry-leading customer service
Deterrence of violence and public order offences
Conduct store patrols
Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
Liaise with store management teams
Coordinate with police and crime partnerships to support crime reduction
Wear body‑worn CCTV to enhance safety for staff and customers
