Retail Security Officer – LIDL Bath

Hours:

20 hours per week

  Additional shifts available across other LIDL stores in the Bristol area.

We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Retail Security Officer to join our team at LIDL Bath. This role plays a key part in providing a safe and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues while helping to reduce loss and support the store's daily operations.

• Conduct regular internal and external patrols of the store.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers where required.
• Deter and prevent theft, fraud and anti-social behaviour.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and respond appropriately.
• Complete accurate incident reports using company reporting systems.
• Liaise professionally with store management, colleagues and emergency services when required.
• Maintain a visible and reassuring security presence throughout each shift.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Previous retail security experience is desirable but not essential.

Due to the location of this store and limited public transport links, applicants should ideally have access to their own vehicle or live within a reasonable commuting distance of the site.
