General Laborer – Bath Iron Works

Pay range: $26.76/hr – $28.94/hr.
Responsibilities- Production grinding, chipping, burning, oxy fuel and plasma cutting.
- Set up welding equipment and operate rolling stock as licensed.
- Removal of snow and ice and maintenance tasks.
- Work tasks of any other trade classification if trained.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Background in construction, building houses, automotive, spray painting, grinding, burning steel, pipe fitting, electrical, insulating, tin work, steel fabrication.
- Physical tasks: working inside, outside, at heights, in confined spaces, on units, on ships, and/or in buildings.
- Must be able to wear a respirator, use pneumatic tools, and be available to work all shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd).
