Patrol Officer
General Dynamics - Bath Iron Works
Provide armed security for all BIW facilities.
Responsibilities- Follow company and department operating procedures.
- Write incident reports and maintain logs.
- Work fixed posts, waterborne assignments and conduct walking checks of facilities.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to work any of three 8‑hour shifts, as well as weekends and holidays.
- Must be willing to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime when required.
- Must successfully complete psychological testing and medical review.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- Past work experience carrying a firearm as part of regular duties required.
- Watercraft operations certified preferred.
- Police or security‑related training preferred.
- Minimum of one year in security‑related field preferred.
Must be a US Citizen and obtain a government security clearance within the first 45 days of hire.
