SHEQ Coordinator

.

This is a great opportunity for you if you have health and safety administration experience and want to play a key role in supporting our SHEQ function. You'll work closely with the Head of SHEQ, helping to maintain compliance, coordinate training, track actions, and support a positive safety culture across the business.

• Maintain Health & Safety Management System records, folders and action trackers, ensuring outstanding actions are monitored and followed up.

• Collate incident, near miss and trend data to support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Update and distribute Health & Safety policies, procedures and local arrangements.

• Administer Health & Safety alerts, coordinating responses and reporting outcomes within agreed timescales.

• Manage SHEQ training records, including course bookings, updates and certification records.

• Attend Health & Safety meetings and provide accurate meeting minutes and action logs.

• Monitor risk assessment and action completion deadlines, escalating overdue items where necessary.

• Provide general administrative support to the wider SHEQ function as required.

• Previous experience in a Health & Safety, SHEQ or compliance coordination/admin role.

• Experience with in housing, social housing, construction, engineering or a similar operational environment would be advantageous.

• Good understanding of Health & Safety principles and legislation.

• IOSH qualification would be beneficial.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• A proactive approach, attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

• £28,000 to £32,000
