Bathgate Academy is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dynamic Teacher of Home Economics
. A relevant teaching qualification and registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland is essential.

• Support the vision of the school and implement strategies to achieve this vision.
• Assist in taking forward the principles of Curriculum for Excellence to support our young people.
• Help secure positive futures for our students by supporting inclusion and addressing significant learning barriers.
• Contribute to the improvement agenda of the faculty, school and authority.

• A relevant teaching qualification.

• Experience in curriculum design and implementation.
• Strong communication and team‑working skills.
• Commitment to working with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults.
