Job Details

27.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, Fixed Term until 13 April 2026.

• Work as part of a school team to support teaching and learning.
• Support pupil learning in the classroom under the teacher's direction.
• Organise resources to support learning throughout the school.
• Perform duties relating to pupil pastoral support, attendance, and attend to pastoral care needs.
• Demonstrate good relations with pupils, parents, and other support agencies.
• Handle and use classroom equipment competently.
• Carry out routine clerical and administrative tasks.

• Ability to work towards and gain a relevant qualification at SCQF Level 6 or equivalent within 5 years of commencing employment in the role of PSW.
• Preferably registered with the Scottish School Sports Association (SSSC); must obtain SSSC registration within 6 months of commencement.
• Required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment.
