OverviewBathgate Academy is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dynamic Teacher of Physics. This post is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, skilled, open‑minded and friendly person to join us, and to help us secure positive futures for our young people.

ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will support the vision of the school and implement strategies to achieve this vision. The candidate will assist in taking forward the principles of Curriculum for Excellence to support our young people and the improvement agenda of the faculty, school and authority.
QualificationsA relevant teaching qualification and registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland is essential. This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
