Whitdale Primary School is a large non‑denominational school serving the east side of Whitburn, West Lothian with 295 pupils across 13 classes. The senior leadership team consists of a Head Teacher, Deputy Head Teacher, two Principal Teachers, and sustained support from administrative staff.
This position requires registration with the Scottish Social Services Council. Within three months of appointment the successful candidate must register with the SSSC and begin working toward a relevant qualification within five years. If already registered with the SSSC, you must add West Lothian Council to your account.
This post is Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check before a formal offer is made.
