Technology Technician

We are seeking to appoint an Technology Technician (3D Product Design & Art) to join our teams at The Hyndburn Academy and Accrington Academy - dual site.

We have a relentless focus on working to provide the best possible support to ensure that all our students reach their full potential. We have a strong focus on high standards and aspirations, built around the simple message that teaching is the most important thing we do.

You will be a key member of the technology team, providing practical support to the teaching and learning of DT & Art. Reporting to the Head of Art and Technology, you will prepare material and resources for lessons, assist in the classroom and develop, prepare and implement whole school display materials. • To provide practical support to the teaching and learning of Design Technology and Art
• Prepare materials and resources for lessons
• Assist in the classroom, supporting the teacher with their health and safety practices
• Develop, prepare and implement whole school display materials
• To ensure there is a safe and effective working environment in the department
