The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of specialist industrial equipment at customer sites. The role is field-based, covering customers primarily across Scotland along the M8 corridor, with occasional travel into Northern England.

This is a varied and hands-on position where you'll diagnose faults, carry out planned preventative maintenance, commission new equipment and provide technical support, ensuring customers receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
Install and commission industrial equipment at customer sites.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
Perform routine inspections to maximise equipment reliability and performance.
Deliver excellent customer service while representing the business professionally.
Complete service reports and associated documentation accurately.

About You

We're keen to speak with engineers who have:

A recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer working with industrial machinery or automated equipment.
Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

Experience with in the food, packaging or pharmaceutical industries would be highly advantageous.
A willingness to travel across Scotland, with occasional travel into Northern England.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
