Plexus is seeking a Quality Engineer II to drive product compliance, root cause analysis, and quality assurance across our manufacturing operations. Based at either our Livingston or Kelso facility, you will lead non-conformance resolution, manage customer complaints, and ensure full alignment with customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Key Job Accountabilities- Quality Management & Audit Oversight:
Lead the development and deployment of QMS metrics to monitor process health. Support internal, external customer, and QMS recertification/surveillance audits. Lead product-related CAPA discussions and closures. - Product Compliance & Validation:
Ensure Assembly Build Instructions (ABIs) meet strict standards. Approve Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), deviations, and build guidelines. Lead the creation, execution, and maintenance of Master Validation Plans. - Manufacturing & Inspection Support:
Monitor ongoing operations to rapidly address quality concerns, issue alerts, and execute purges or containment when needed. Establish inspection strategies for receiving, pre-ship, and out-of-box audits, ensuring complete Quality History Documentation and Certificates of Compliance. - Non-Conformance & Root Cause Leadership:
Own customer complaint resolution and non-conformance management from initial containment through structured root cause analysis and corrective action. - Quality Culture & Training:
Build and embed quality awareness on the shop floor. Train and educate operators and production associates on compliance procedures, verifying training and inspection effectiveness.
- Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant quality/manufacturing experience preferred (or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience). - Technical & Problem Solving:
Demonstrated skill using structured problem-solving tools, systemic data analysis, and experimental design to resolve technical and organizational challenges. - Operational Design:
