Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 Trade Waste & Skip Drivers to join our client based in Bathgate.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established waste management business offering stable, ongoing work, competitive pay rates, overtime opportunities, and a supportive working environment.

• Start time: 5:00am
• Finish time:
  Between 1:00pm and 2:30pm

• Start time: 6:00am
• Finish time:
  Between 4:00pm and 4:30pm

Monday to Friday working pattern.

• Up to £15.00 per hour
• Overtime paid at 1.5 times the standard hourly rate
• Weekly pay
• Ongoing, full-time work
• Full PPE and uniform provided
• Modern, well-maintained fleet
• Ongoing training and support
• Predictable working hours supporting a healthy work-life balance

• Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for Trade Waste or Skip collections.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any defects promptly.
• Plan and follow efficient collection routes.
• Deliver excellent customer service at customer sites.
• Ensure bins and skips are positioned correctly and sites are left clean and tidy.
• Comply with all drivers' hours regulations, health and safety requirements, and waste duty of care legislation.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and vehicle records accurately.

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous experience operating Class 2 vehicles.
