Driver Hire Edinburgh West is currently seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers to work with a variety of clients across West Lothian.

These roles are ideal for drivers looking for flexible work around other commitments, with the opportunity to gain experience across different job types, vehicles, and industry sectors.

• Flexible ad hoc shifts to suit your availability
• Opportunities to work with a varied client base across multiple sectors
• A diverse range of vehicles, routes, and assignments

• Trunking, single-drop, and multi-drop deliveries and collections
• General haulage and pallet network work
• A-B vehicle movements
• Loading and unloading as required
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Maintaining full compliance with drivers  hours, safety, and transport regulations

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum of 1 year s Class 1 driving experience (essential)
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
• No IN, DD, DR, or CD endorsements
• Strong understanding of drivers  hours and transport legislation
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, professional, and flexible attitude

• PAYE Basic: £15.50 per hour (holiday pay accrued)
• PAYE Advanced: £17.37 per hour
